I have been passionate about movement since childhood, dreaming of becoming a dance educator. But along the way, I struggled with body image, diet culture, and the pressure to look a certain way.
My teachers often said:
“The boys can’t lift you because you are too heavy” “You are too fat for dance"
I tried everything to get into shape, keto, fasting, OMAD, Juicing…hours of cardio… even diets you never heard of before like the ”popcorn diet”...
My entire life I was battling binge eating disorder, orthorexia and body dysmorphia, constantly chasing an impossible ideal.
As I stepped into the world of international dance and sports education, I saw the same struggles all around the world (UK, Spain, China, Thailand, etc.). Dancers, athletes, and everyday women were stuck in cycles of yo-yo dieting, and binge eating, and the number of my students struggling with eating disorders was growing. All of this was driven by the myths surrounding fat loss, fitness, and the pressure to look a certain way on social media.
But I wanted to make a difference. I know that movement is not just our first language—it’s also a powerful psychotherapeutic tool that can help women reconnect with their bodies, heal their relationship with food, and break free from harmful dieting patterns.
I believe that if someone steps up with the right combination of knowledge and support, most women wouldn’t need to face the challenges of dieting and food relationship struggles in the first place.
So I did it… I combined the right strategies to empower women with critical thinking and a mindset shift so they can achieve sustainable fat loss without me needing to “coach” them every step of the way.
Most people are just piecing together information from TikTok and YouTube, not even able to distinguish what’s real anymore or thinking it through.
When I say “Fitness Influencing should be illegal”, I mean it. People will do anything for views, completely ignoring the negative impact they have on people’s health and well-being.
Not to mention, technology is purposely making people dumb—feeding them information that keeps them stuck in confusion and insecurity instead of helping them think critically and make informed choices.
One of my clients said: “You know, when you explain it, it’s so obvious. I don’t know why I didn’t think about it or why people can’t explain it that way.”
Not everyone was born to teach. Knowing doesn’t mean you’re able to deliver it in a way that truly connects and makes sense. It takes the right approach, the right mindset, and a deep understanding of what people actually need to hear.
